The GRENKE story began in the southern German town of Baden-Baden. Wolfgang Grenke saw an untapped market in office communication equipment leasing and founded his business in 1978. We have since grown into a group of companies offering leasing, bank and factoring services across the European market.


Leasing remains our core business, however, and GRENKE is a market leader in the small-ticket IT market. The reason for this is simple.
